Best Practices for Environmental Stewardship
Here at Pinnacles Campground, we are striving to improve our environmental performance every day. The decisions we make while working and camping at Pinnacles can have a significant impact on the environment. Please help us to reduce our impact by following these tips:
· Stay on trails to avoid damaging vegetation and disturbing wildlife habitat.
· Recycle as much of your waste from camping as you can. Blue Recycling dumpsters are located throughout the campground.
· Recycle propane cannisters and used batteries at the campground store.
· Minimize shower time to conserve our limited water resources.
· Keep campsites clean from food scraps to reduce human-wildlife interactions.
· Follow Leave No Trace and Zero Waste Principles as much as possible.
· Feel free to share any of your own suggestions with our staff as well!
